I’ve experimented with Daichi data, and I can confidently assure that it’ll have its use in the visualization markets. I’ve also found that it’s actually a more ideal low-resolution source for colorization of higher resolution sources (with typical compromises) such as WorldView-1, SPOT, and IFSAR — to compliment mid to high-resolution regional datasets (where Daichi imagery is acquired). For the Japanese government, the sensor is certainly not a waste in my opinion. · (0)
