Envisat Observes Regional CO2 Emissions

Envisat Makes First Ever Observation of Regionally Elevated CO2 From Man-made EmissionsESA, European Space Agency
http://www.esa.int/esaEO/SEMZHVM5NDF_planet_0.html

This is a very important discovery in observation, because it points-out the factual correlation between human-settled land-mass areas (primarily urban environments, and rural industry environments) and the location of CO2 emissions relative to human settlement and industry.

In other words — yes, it is real. It is man-made. With observational focus such as this, there is no denying it. There is no way to say ‘it doesn’t exist’.

What it also allows scientists and engineers to do — is to look at ‘hot spots’ for carbon emission, and be able to attack those problematic areas more efficiently. Thus, having the capability to use this data to both understand what can be done to correct it, and to use it politically to correct the problem itself.
