Redesign, On Hold

I scrapped the idea of redesigning the site for now, in favor of waiting for the final release of WordPress version 2.5. I have a development install of WordPress on another server to work-out the design there — when everything’s ready, I’ll simply transition the template over to do a seamless, instant upgrade.

  • Fri, 14 Mar 2008 at 4:10 am · I ran across these two map viewers via Mike Migurski, Mike having involvement with both projects — GSV, or Giant-Ass Image Viewer 1.0, a Javascript and Python library that’ll allow one to generate a viewer for a map, provided as Open Source. And Modest Maps, a Flash equivalent provided as a BSD-license offering. Nicest thing to note with the GSV project — Mike includes a PowersOfTwo.py script, something I typically see lacking in most of these similar types of packages. · (0)
