Another early Christmas present — the ability to embed Street View from Google Maps. (How many days of Christmas are there again?):

Publishing embeddable Maps and Street View is easy through the Google Maps interface — and if you run a WordPress web site, think about including a button that pops-up Google Maps directly from the WordPress editing interface.

Note: I’m noticing that Street View is currently under extreme demand — probably because of this release. You might see a blank area, but right-clicking to view source when this happens shows the following message: “We’re sorry, street view is currently unavailable due to high demand.” (Perhaps that should be visible instead? Then again, it could also be that I’m in IE.)
